2002 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN Steering Noise

When turning the Steering Wheel (either way) there is a popping sound when just starting out from a stop. Replaced the the Sway Bar Bushings, still is present. Thought about the replacing the Front Struts. Could have anything to do with the Front Wheel Drive?

I had a similar problem with a popping - clanking noise when I was turning the Steering Wheel and going at a slow speed.
See if you can have someone listen outside the car while you drive it to be sure.
I replaced the one drive axle and the problem was solved.

Steering wheels makes vibration noise when turning wheel while in park

I'm thinking your power steering rack needs servicing! may be air in the hydraulic lines. did it start right after you replaced the pump? did you run the fluid resivour dry by any chance?

you may only have either a bad cv joint or a bad wheel bearing. unfortunatlly, your's sounds like a bad wheel bearing, the part comes complete. the whole hub assembly is sold at advance auto parts {new 150.00 rebuilt $95.00 labor excluded. when the cv joint or axle goes bad, you will hear the axle pop and crack during turning. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

It should be your power steering. Check your power steering fluid level.
