1994 honda prelude problems

My 1994 honda prelude will start then a few mins later it will die then it wont start. i need help this thing is makin me go crazy..... im thinkin its the relay. but does anyone noe what color the rear defroster is????? im think to just run a link to that wire because i testd the fuel pump relay and it is low relay...

SOURCE: my honda prelude will start

May be the main relay - under the steering column - rectangular box 40mm x 25mm (?) with 8-way plug into it from the underside, just to offside of column. May be easisest to leave the case and bracket in place and unclip the insides - two moulded little clips , one each end. Use torch! Check/resolder joints on circuit board. Frequent problem apparently.

before you do anything check you fuel line at the engine and see if you are getting fuel. sounds like its not getting any fuel.

indicates that there is air in the system
constant movement of the clutch is removing the air but after leaving for for a period , air is again getting back in the system
Possible loose connection at the slave cylinder/bleed nipple or faulty slave cylinder

ignition modual . net time it dies take one of the pluge wires off and check for spark by sitting it close to a ground and crank the engin . if no spark it very well could be a control mod

sounds like you have a dead battery and possible a bad altenator have the battery checked out and replace if bad. If not recharge and if the car starts have the charging system checked out you may have a bad altenator or voltage regulator probably built in the altenator. Possibly the starter but not likely since it stalled while running.

The only way to For sure fix this is to have a Mechanic run a Diagnostic Check on the Entire car to locate the Problem. Fixing small things here and there will not get you anywhere with this Honda.

1993 honda prelude si dash lights go off and engine dies. try to start but engine dies. if dash light comes on after fiddling with key, car can be kick started.
my 93 prelude was doing the exact same thing and for me it was my alternator was working properly.
go to a parts store and have them test it.
