HOW TO CHANGE from FM radio to AM radio
SOURCE: am radio not working
THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A RADIO PROBLEM. IT MAY BE WORTH YOUR TIME TO HAVE A DODGE DEALER CHECK THE RADIO TO SEE IF INDEED THE RADIO IS BAD, BUT THEN YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO REPLACE THE OEM RADIO WITH A NICE AFTERMARKET RADIO. THESE HAVE COME DOWN IN PRICE DRASTICALLY AND ARE PROBABLY CHEAPER THAN REPLACING THE OEM RADIO. WITH NO SIGNAL OR STATIC ON THE AM BAND SURE SOUNDS LIKE THE AM BAND IS DEAD. Pull off the 3 knobs for the heat controls. You will see a screw under the center knob. Remove it. Look to see if there are any screws near the vent grilles, remove them, if they are there. The whole center fascia then pulls out towards you. Remove the 4 bolts, and the radio is out. Easy.

What kind of radio do you have installed? Stock, or Aftermarket? Most radio's have the ability to do AM and FM. Just need to find the right button. ;-)
