HOW TO CHANGE from FM radio to AM radio

  • Anonymous Aug 20, 2012

What kind of radio do you have installed? Stock, or Aftermarket?  Most radio's have the ability to do AM and FM.  Just need to find the right button.  ;-)

What is the car year and model there? Sometimes just need "push" volume or tuning button.

SOURCE: am radio not working

THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A RADIO PROBLEM. IT MAY BE WORTH YOUR TIME TO HAVE A DODGE DEALER CHECK THE RADIO TO SEE IF INDEED THE RADIO IS BAD, BUT THEN YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO REPLACE THE OEM RADIO WITH A NICE AFTERMARKET RADIO. THESE HAVE COME DOWN IN PRICE DRASTICALLY AND ARE PROBABLY CHEAPER THAN REPLACING THE OEM RADIO. WITH NO SIGNAL OR STATIC ON THE AM BAND SURE SOUNDS LIKE THE AM BAND IS DEAD. SOURCE: 2007 Toyota Sequoia Dashboard Access to Radio console FM Antenna

Pull off the 3 knobs for the heat controls. You will see a screw under the center knob. Remove it. Look to see if there are any screws near the vent grilles, remove them, if they are there. The whole center fascia then pulls out towards you. Remove the 4 bolts, and the radio is out. Easy.

How do i tune Mazda Demio (2004 model) radio to Southern African frequencies?

fm frequencies are just that fm frequencies ( not japanese, chinese ,english or anything else
it is a range of frequencies in the fm band that local stations broadcast on
so all you have to do is to turn the tuner knob until you get 107 fm
so as you turn the knob you will loose 89 and it will go probably 90.5 , 100.20, 102.7 etc and if there is a station broadcasting that your radio will pick up it will come in and then fade out as you keep moving the knob
you may have to change the mode as there are fm 1 ,fm 2,fm 3 bands to get your fm 107 as it will depend on what megahertz 107 is operating on

I just got a Jabra Cruiser and need to change the radio frequency to 88.1. Does anyone know how to do that? Thank you!

All that means is to put your radio on FM 88.1, and just wait. Jabra will find the exact frequency (mine is 88.7) and then it will work. When you want to use it to listen to music, just put the radio on 88.1 .
