Trying to remove driver side interior door panel on '88 Toyota PU

I am attempting to remove the interior door panel (driver's side) on a 1988 Toyota Pick Up. The door handle has been unscrewed and removed, the door opener cover has been unscrewed and removed, but I am unable to remove the manual window arm that is used to roll the window up/down. The panel is basically ready to be moved but I can't due to the window arm that is still attached. How do you remove the window arm/knob so I can pop the panel back?

There is a cotter pin in the window crank, a pair of needle nosed pliers should be able to grab it

it's an 88. You need to look and find where the leak is. Water trails look whitish in color. Door seals, under dash.

2001 Toyota Camry - Removing driver interior door panel

you can take a screw driver and pry it off. Be careful if you have power windows, if it falls right off then it could pull the wires loose. The panels have clips that clip to the door. Therefore, the only way to get the panel off is to pry it off.

remove phillips scew and the door handle. remove padded arm rest on the door by lifting it up, and remove 2 screws. You can use a panel tool to remove the plastic toggle like pins holding the panel border in. Be as gentle as possible they may break due to becoming brittle.

'88 toyota camry rear window stuck in down position

To get to the Window:

Remove Door Inside Handle:
remove screw, slide the handle forward.
Disconnect the control link and remove the handle.

Remove Door Trim with Inner WeatherStrip:
Remove the two screws from the armrest.
Insert a screwdriver between the trim retainers and the door panel to pry it loose.  Eight hidden fasteners. 1 top left side of door.
1 right side about same height as top of armrest. 1 (each side) about same height as bottom of armrest. 1 on each corner bottom. 1 bottom in middle.  1 on left side between bottom corner and the previous at about lower armrest height...

Remove Service Hole cover.
Remove Door Glass Run.

Remove Division Bar (upper window section divider):
Remove the two screws under the weatherstrip
Remove the bolt.
Pull out the division bar.

Remove the Window Glass:
Place the glass in the door cavity.
Remove the two glass channel mounting bolts.
Remove the window glass by pulling it upwards.

You now have access to the Power Window Regulator; possible replacement of motor etc.

What type of 'things' have you tried for fixing the window and restoring operation?

'88 toyota camry rear window stuck in down position

have you tried to remove the doors window switch and ensure that you have a good 12 volts at the switch? I assume when you said you've tried everything that meant you checked the fuses. You can check with a voltmeter but a test light will actually ensure good voltage.
