If both lights arent working check fuses, and also you have a switch located under the dash along the pedal arm it may need adjusting or replacement.

Check the brake rotor backing plate to see if it is rubbing against the brake rotor, check the brake pad condition at the same time, it may be the low brake pad sensors that you are hearing.

I just put a small wood wedge in the top of the door, slid a wire hanger in and popped the lock. the alarm did go off but I was able to pull the door handle as I popped the lock and open the door. Stuck the keys in the ignition and turned it over and the alarm was deactivated...easy to do with minimal tools.

its a fancy way of saying check engine. you need to have someone hook a scanner up to it and see what codes it has in it.
