i would suspect that the idle control valve is playing up ,look on the inlet manifold and their is a valve that allows air to bypass the throttle butterfly so the idel remains steady when AC is turned on ect and this valve is sticking when it gets warm mit sort of has a pointed end on and its controlled by 3 or 4 wires depending on type and as the idle needs to be raised the computer sends a current to a motor that winds it in or out to allow the air in and this i think is your problem .

Sounds like the Timing belt broke while the motor was running, the engine would have died when that happened unless you busted a cam shaft. if the Timing belt was broken and it happened while the motor was running there is a 90% probability that you bent every valve in the head assembly from contact with the pistons.

if the starter is cranking but the motor isn't turning over you have something wrong, remove the timing cover and crank the motor over, see whats turning and what isn't, both the cam and crankshaft should be turning over,, if it is, and by meaning its not turning over you mean its not starting you could have it 180 degrees out, check the number one plug to see if its on the compression stroke, which would place the rotor at the number one position inside the distributer cap,, if its pointing away from it, you have the timing set wrong. and need to reline the timing belt to the correct place

How to time engine --Turn crankshaft to t.d.c. turn camshaft so valves on number four cylinder start to open and close ( rock back and forth )line up marks on cover and cam gear .key way will line up ,may have to move cam just a bit.

The cylinder head is located on the center of the engine. Yes it can be a worn out head gasket or piston rings. If the piston rings are worn out the oil is burnt that's why it emits white smoke. You will need to replace the head gasket and piston rings.

your Daewoo has an interference engine, when the timing belt brakes the valves hit the top of the pistons, and get bent. you will need to remove the cylinder head an replace the valves.....sorry.

egr valve stuck closed. needs to be open when the engine warms up to keep the engine running
One of the egr components is at fault so have it checked out for there are 4 componets to it

does your fob key still operate the door locks? if not do you believe the battery may be dead? or have you already replaced the battery for it? Some parts stores have a rf indicator on their battery displays. This checks for radio frequencies which are used by those keys to determine if the batteries or dead rather than a faulty code programmed. Some vehicles have theft deterent keys which are magnetic or have a unique tumbler pattern which can't be copied easily. On the other hand dummy keys are given if requested/purchased and they can only unlock doors. It sounds like you have a dummy and should check your fob asap

Take the car to a front end alignment shop and get an estimate for repairs. Sounds like a bent tie rod but a mechanic would have the right equipment to diagnose and repair your car. This will help with both the handling and the life of the tires.
