the leak is bigger look and inspect lines

have done a couple but for the life of me i cannot remember but iam thinking than its driven by the timing belt so renew the lot in one go.

The OP asked how to replace the camshaft oil seal. The suggested answer talked about replacing the timing belt, which is part of the procedure, but not the seal. My auto parts store suggested a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner and then using high tack adhesive or gasket sealant to make sure the seal stays put. I would also like a rundown on R&R of the seal.

cv joint reconditioning is done by specialists shops and is not recommended for untrained personal.. It generally works out cheaper, quicker and there is a warranty for the cv joints if done in shop. Find a reputable ,accredited drive shaft specialist and the both sides should be done inside 4 hours

IF electoral they will have a switch on the door arm rest or console . if manual they will have a winder near the door handle.

High idle speed on any fuel injected car engine ussually means an intake air leak or faulty idle speed motor, but maybe faulty coolant temp switch, check if coolant level in radiator is to top of neck ONLY OPEN RADITOR WHEN ENGINE IS COLD, this is for personal safety. Get a trigger spray bottle of water and spray around all parts of the inlet manifold if leak evident rgine should run slightly rough. other poss prob could be brake booster faulty or booster one way faulty or hose split.
