1994 XJ6 battery wont charge alternator ok battery
The battery needs to be load tested first. once this is determined to be good or not, have the charging system checked just be sure. Electrical components can fail quicker than you can blink. Just because it tested good once does not mean it still is. Most autoparts stores will do this for free. Let me know what they say.

The driver seat dosent go forward or back
make sure there obstructions under the seat, check for a relay to the seats, replace the relay. If the relay isn't bad, replace the motor itself. Check all elctrical connections and devices before spending any money.

Joe,
If you are sure the fuel is reaching the cylinders then checking the (blue) spark is the next logical check. Also check if the battery is fully charged.A strong battery is what rotates the engine fast enough to start. But it seems to be a fuel problem as you said you had to pump the gas pedal to start on the first problem day. Can you disconnect the antenna motor to see if the pump is indeed working. You can connect it later on.

THE CAR IDLES FINE BUT
The first thing is to have the computer scanned, the check engine light is on and codes are stored in the computer, these codes will tell you where the problem is and with some diagnosing the problem can be found, you may need to have someone with a scan tool check this to pull the codes.

Sometimes it dies and
you need to have your obd3 Diagnostic Trouble Codes read Most auto parts stores will do this for you. This will pinpoint why your check eng. light came on and better idea where to start.

Starting issue with 1994 jaguar xj6
Had similar problem which ended up being the Park Gear selection position. Do you get a beep noise when out of gear? What about when in park. Although my car was in Park, it needed wiggling out a little while turning the ignition to get it to crank and has been this way ever since.
Also had a Sovereign with an immobiliser that gave me the same no start problems some times, no solution other than an expert auto electrician for that.

My 1994 jaguar xj6 has a problem where the battery
Charge the battery with an external charger for about 6 hours, then start the engine and measure the battery voltage with the engine running. It should measure 13.5 volts or more. If it reads 12.6 or less volts, then the alternator is not recharging the battery. Take the car to Autozone or similar business for a free check out of the alternator and voltage regulator. They will be happy to sell you any needed parts. Hope this helps!

1994 jaguar xjs 4.0----need to know where the
On my 90 and 92, I have a vacuum line from the driver side intake manifold at about inline with the # cylinder. It travels to the firewall between engine and firewall to a connection underneath the battery. That line goes through the firewall and connects to other lines roughly above your feet if you are sitting in the passenger side of the car.

My car 1993 jag smkes after i had the engine
I would run it a few hundred miles to see if it goes away. Maybe water has accumulated where it usually shouldn't be.
I try to not steam clean the engine in my Cadillac since it is so old, and I do not want to damage anything.
Good luck to you.
