No heater controls no blower or ac fuses good 89 jaguar xj6
My 93 xj6 doesn't blow or anything but I found that if I kick the blower under the string wheel. It comes on. Then it's blowing cold on the dash and hot out the center counsel. Where do I kick to fix that? There are buttons that light up by the steering wheel. That look like the seat heater button. Is there a way to choose to make the thing blow cold in front and hot in back? 989-657-2563

01 jaguar keeps killing my battery
It sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere. This would definatly be a job for a professional shop to locate a bad ground. Otherwise take the car down to advanced auto parts or autozone and ask them to test the starting and charging system to see if their is a problem there. You may just have a bad alternator or starter draining your battery.

"Failed RH Indicator"
Check your right hand indicator bulbs, front and rear.
Simply a case of changing a blown light bulb.

Jaguar misfire at 50 mph. diagnostics say cylinders 4and 8 misfire
That's specific enough to be spark plugs and/or wires. Depending on the year (engine placement) it might be easy to check yourself but it'd also be relatively quick for a mechanic to do the same. If it were anything more serious like a crankshaft sensor, or the crankshaft itself, the car wouldn't maintain idle long enough to drive. Best to take care of this ASAP though.

2001 jaguar s-type won't crank battery new and charged. Turn the ignition car won't make a sound
many things will cause no start problems could have faulty ignition switch.use test light see if power going to starter if not check ignition fuse to starter.if power going to starter, more likely starter solenoid or starter faulty.if ignition fuse okay and starter and solenoid okay still no start problem could be in the ignition switch or inhibitor switch faulty.code scan for faulty theft security system which will also cause no start conditions.

GEARBOX FAULT MESSAGE for jaguar s 2001
Replace transmission and sell quickly. I bought 2001 s-type in October 2008. I have not been able to drive it. 1st thing was gearbox fault message which turned out to be transmission. Ford can rebuild cheaper. Next thing to happen was all seals needed replacing. Then all coils needed to be replaced. Coils keep going out. Needs new computer which has 8 year/80000 mile warranty on, but Jag would not honor ($3000). Needless to say my pretty jag sits in the driveway. Had to get another car. Went with Lincoln LS V8. GREAT car!

Gearbox fault light comes on
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, and
SRS) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up
a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system
for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Alarm drains my battery
This is not due to your car alarm. check all lights are off when you lock the car (boot etc) Possible cause of this is the "rear electronic control module" situated in the boot. This unit turns off all the systems when it puts your car to sleep when locked for a period of time. To check. connect a 10amp DC meter in series with the negative lead from your battery to car earth. Leave the meter outside of the car and then lock it. the reading will drop to about 0.8amp very quickly - leave for 1 x hr then check the reading again, it should now be 0.02 amps. if its around 0.6 amps you could have a problem with the R E C M. Hope this helps - good luck.

ABS fault code
The only problem with this system is that the dealer must calibrate the control module after repair is done, the cause of this may be due to a vacuum leak to booster or fault in brake pedal switch and last a bad booster. I would open the hood and try to see if you can hear a hissing noise or leaking line to brake booster.
