double posted. the sender on this G16 engine is above the oil filter its a RHT, (righty tighty lefty loosey ) device. we turn it counter clockwise to remove it, its British Pipe thread. remove it , then put the new one in, turned Clock wise. do not over torque it. or risk engine block damage. do not cross thread the threads. on the actual front diffr, pinion or the front transfer case seal the front seal is like the rear. its a crush cage. that means when you remove the pinion yoke/flange big bolt the crash cage is destroyed. also wrecking pinion gear to ring gear back lash..oops.. big big mess-up there...$$$$$$ and such cage must be replaced. questions???????????? how can you be sure its leaking, when the engine this old loves leak oil i bet that oil on the ground does not small at all like the nasty stink of hypoid GL5 gear lube. I BET why not post how to find leaks first and not do $1000 damage no engine size posted G16? J20?> The G16, ill demonstrate (coin toss) Distributor 2 , o-rings leak like made, all do this old !!!! same with the 60k mile service and valve cover gasket all leak, for that reason alone, on all 1990s era next is cam seal crank seal pan seal (or pan is rusted thru as many see (today) oil pump seal and gawd forbid the rear main seal , engine. easy peasy japanezzy why not ask your mechanic to sniff that oil first and save a fortune guessing. !!!! see man pulling axle to remove pan wana do that? http://www.fixkick.com/axles/Pan-drop/pandrop.html to replace this seal, remove the carrier first then take it to a shop that can rework the carrier the correct way.

Did you R/R the pump & relay for this no start condition? First ck ALL the fuses if OK you probably have an electrical short. Ck ground circuits too.

You did not mention the year of your car so it is hard to answer. If it is old enough to still have a distributor then you may have moisture inside the cap. Pop it loose and spray with electrical contact cleaner or WD-40. Also look for cracks in the cap and/or damage to the seal at the bottom of the cap while you have it off. If you have any doubts about it replace it.

Valve or ignition?

kinda hard to imagine, so is 2 door . (why not post a photo?) there are 3 kinds of 2 door bodies. the metal top the rag top and the fiber glass hard top , removable. (ive owned the last 2) the hard top comes in factory and aftermarket form. part 47? (screw 50 left/and right?) here is the factory top and all parts. if yours is like this. Wire touching somewhere or not the right fuse

Check for spark

Replace alternator

Regrease tight and make sure transfer case bolts are there tight

Make sure wires are tight and battery wires are tight look for wires sitting on manifold
