You didn't say what year but here is what you are looking for. The Low Pressure Service Port has a Larger diameter than the High Pressure port. The High Pressure port will cause the freon can to explode if you connect to it.

it come apart the cable, from bottom out. pull it and lube it. how to step by step rmove the bottom cable ring holder, (unscrews) the cable slides out. lube it. lightly put it back. at the last inch you will have to spin the cable to get the sqaured ends to dog in to the speedo head. http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/tests/vss-testing.html

You have probably torched the catalytic converter (they actually melt and become plugged up). No air flow now. Best way to check is pull the pre/foward 02 sensor. This will give breathing room for the engine. Also take out the air filter for good measure. Just remember, a one inch hole( the size of the 02 sensor, doesn't make up for the 2 inch hole for the exhaust). You will still have drivability problems. This may solve your problems, but there also could be more. Like , why did it melt to begin with?
