I have a 95 Geo Tracker automatic the problem is I
I had the same probem with my 95 geo. Turns out it was the transmission. The second cluth housing was so full of the normal metal bits of auto trans that the clutches would't hook up untill it warmed up. Adding TransX helped but thats a bad idea long term. Just got done rebuilding it.

Cannot find tool to loosen front wheel bearing lock nut
I have a 1995 Geo Tracker 4WD with the same exact problem,However I did some research . You will need to go to the Kent Moore Website which makes specialty tools and look up Wheel bearing socket "J-37763" I saw the picture of it and it looks like there are 4 small rounded teeth/tabs. Unfortunately get ready to spend some money - cost is about $70.00 not including shipping/handling
I hope that this Info. helps - Jim H.
Location of neutral safety switch
Probably contained in the transaxle range selector switch-the electrical connector to the transmission. Few or none anymore have a separate neutral safety switch.
