Subaru justy wont go into any gear
when was the clutch plate last replaced was it lately and the problem just started after the change
next there is a bush/bearing in the center of the crankshaft that failes/ dry and that seizes in the input shaft of the gear box and makes the clutch useless as it drives the box all the time
another thing is any oil or grease on the clutch lining will stick the plate to the flywheel face and cause a problem
if the clutch plates are old , the damper springs can come out /break and intere with the flywheel mounting bolts
removing the transmissions and checking the clutch assemblies will reveal the reason for the failure
Studdering engine
that would be a very good place to start, also spark plugs and spark plug wires can cause this. spray the plug wires with water a spray bottle ($1 stores have these), if the engine begings to run rough suspect the plug wires are defective..
Trouble code 13, 1990 Subaru Justy
cmp sensor(camshaft position sensor)check the wiring harness first.to see if its loose if not then it needs replaced thats what trouble code 13 list.

Look for green connectors under dash drivers side by steering column ...plugging these together will put the computer in diagnostic,then flash codes from an led in the actual ecm. Retrieving these codes may help isolate your driveability problem and I would be looking closely at the fuel delivery/carburetor as you might have some jets clogging and float level issues or even fuel pressure issues
Computer shut down fuel system reset
Hi, Sounds like the immobiliser isn't de-activating. The system will prime when the ignition is turned on and the car will start but then the immobiliser will cut the fuel after 2-3 seconds. Are there any warning lights or led lights staying on. If you have a spare key and haven't tried it then start there first. If you do and neither key works then it could be a number of things including the pick up ring around the ignition barrel but you would need to get the car checked out proffesionally before you start replacing parts. Why does my 89 justy die when i slow down?
It could be any number of things. The MAP sensor is bad, a severe vacuum leak, the fuel filter is plugged, it needs a tune-up like new plugs & wires etc., the fuel pump is weak or leaking if its a manual one. If the car runs rough at idle have a vacuum test done also, while the car is running at night, open the hood and see if the plug wires are arcing as you will see what looks like small lightning sparks around the wires. The worst case scenario is the piston rings are shot causing poor compression. A repair manual is usually available at the local auto parts store, or shopping center like Wal-Mart and Meijer.
