No start, no noises when key engages the start position.

The large red wire at the starter is to the battery. The smaller wire is hot in the start position only! have someone turn the key to start and then check for voltage. If you have voltage you need a starter. If there is no voltage you either have an open from the ignition switch or a bad switch on the column. 1 last thing. Most cars have a fusible link at the starter. If there is a short somewhere the wire acts like a fuse and blows. You can check that by pulling in the wire or just feeling for a spot with no wire.

Can you adjust thebrack and pinion on a 2000 Sebring?

Hi Jim, What about the rack ends? They also wear out. Chock the wheels and apply the parking brake, jack up the front end and test for play by moving the road wheels left and right by hand. If the play is there remove the rubber boots and check for wear on the rack ends (coming out from the rack) If you see movement from the rack its self the whole unit must be replaced. Regards John

Is the fuel filter external or internal on a 2000

The fuel filter is external, will be an in-line fuel filter meaning it's screw into the fuel line, more then likely will be under the hood over by the fire wall.

Car speakers quit working

You should have a radio amp on the floor located under the passenger seat. This is where your problem will most likely be. You will need a new one or can try to get a used one.
