1994 Roadmaster Sedan

Did it sound like a small fan running? The Roadmaster has thermal actuated electric fans for the Radiator in some models. If you can see the front of the engine (no fan) then you have electric fans. If there is a large shroud in front of the motor, you have a mechanical fan. The Thermal fans will operate when the car is hot, even after the engine is shut off.

Pass key light blinking car will not start

Here is a great write-up on the subject. This will get rid of the entire Passkey system and the car will start like new. It was the only thing that saved my 94 Park Avenue: http://newrockies.com/vatsbypass . I had the exact same situation.

Passkey light in the dash flashes

pull the fuse from the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. It can be accesed by opening the drivers door and removing the panel that is the left end of the dash. Pulling and reinserting the fuse will usually solve this problem. The other issue could be in the key itself. The pass key is simply a resistor built into your GM key.

The horn has a short in it

Some vehicles do have the ring and it is below the steering wheel and provides a contact for the electrical components mounted in the wheel itself.

The steering wheel is removed to access it.

However, you could test your circuit from the horn relay. The horn switch serves to ground the relay, making it send the voltage to the horn. If you or your mechanic test from there & get a good ground only when pressing the horn buttons, and if it doesn't have that same ground when not being pressed, you've saved a lot of work. good luck

Push brakes parking light comes on pull headlight

there is a good possibility that your multifunction switch is bad. this is the lever on the left side of the steering wheel that controls wipers and high beams. when they go bad, they cause all kinds of problems. also check out the headlight switch itself.

Where is the relay switch for 1994 buick

Some relays are found under the dash on the driver side, like the ones for the blinker. Other relays such as those for the fan are under the hood behind the headlight while the others like the fuel pump relay are near the firewall.

1994 buick roadmaster, oil leaking out of right

If what you see leaking is very oily and does not evaporate, likely it is an axle seal. If there are no leaks in the brake system, that's the only thing back there that can leak. If the axle bearing is going away, it can damage the seal so make sure you look for small shiny metal flakes behind the seal when you replace it or you will be doing the job again very soon. Can't remember...that IS rear wheel drive right?

What is the best location to position a floor jack

Look under the side of the car about 6 inches from the wheel wheel (always between front/rear tires). There is usually a seam of sheet metal joints along the bottom and a 1 or 2 inch notch is cut to allow jack placement (if using factory jack for changing tires).

This is a heavy car, do not work under the car when using the light weight jack that came with the car. Also, do not use cinder blocks (bricks) to support the car if your are going under the car. Use only high quality jack stands on a level surface and place chucks under any wheels still on the ground to prevent rolling.

Be careful!

Please rate me. Thanks!

How do you take the panel off the rear door of a

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect any other wiring that may be attached to the door.
