Why is my heater blower motor not running?

If you got the motor to run, then whatever feeds that motor electricity is the culprit. Check the switch.

92 buick roadmaster a/c works great until

think you may have too much gas by weight ?? in the AC system causing the compressor to lock up but their should be a safety valve that will blow the gas out of the compressor ?? i have never seen one of these vehicles except on the tv so iam not the best person to answer but could it have a climatic computer ?? if so run a wire from the switch direct to the compressor this will by pass the computer .sorry but iam british living in spain and these cars are just not seen over here.It could even be its working too well and freezing in the resistrictor valve to be honest i would need to have the vehicle in front of me then i could diagnose it correctly and hit it with the approiate size hammer to fix it

Replace water pump

If you have mechanical experience ... automotive mechanical experience, tools, band aids and time - changing a water pump is doable. Be aware, you have to catch the antifreeze, clean dirty surfaces in cramped spaces and be able to get the air out of your system when you are all done. Expect to spend most of a Saturday doing this job if you have all the stuff you need at the front of the job and you don't break anything in between and dont have to go after or exchange other parts. I think there are ignition connections in that area as well ... don't forget the belts ...

I just talked myself out of this job ... how about you? It is doable ... question is do I really want to do it?

I would expect to pay about $150.00 for this job ... I'd rather have my Saturday to spend on the computer.

91 buick roadmaster lacks power/ major backfire seen in cat

if the catalytic convertor was cherry hot or even close, it is time to get it replaced. what happens is after a while of use it can plug up with carbon and not allow for sufficient exhaust flow causing an extreme loss of power and potential for severe engine damage and possble fire hazard. take it to a trusted muffler shop quick and get their opinion also. this shouldnt cost more then $200 high. cheers

91 Buick Roadmaster wont start....... Baffeling

Hello.
When you installed the new starter, you may have forgotten to tighten the positive and negative cables going to the starter giving it no power what so ever.
A second solution could be when your removed the old battery, you popped a few fuses that your were unaware of. Try taking a look at the fuse box/panel and see if you can find any popped fuses. A bad fuse can result in no power to certain parts of the car.
One more solution can be that the positive ground that goes to the battery, trace it down at the other end, not the battery end, but the end that should run into a box and have a bolt, make sure that bolt holding the opposite end of the battery is tight, a bad connection can do that also. Do the same for the negative if all else fails.
Hope this helps!

No owners manual

You probably have to go get a Haynes manual.
