Driver side powerwindow not working

Hi there. Here's a tip for you. Ensure you are in a quite environment, switch on the ignition and hold the window switch in the up position for as long as you can and listen very, very carefully! What you should be listening for is a very faint 'click', that's the thermal cut-out working. If you hear this you know your switch is getting power and you then need to check out the actual window motor - it might be seized or simply not working. Of course, the basics like fuses should be checked too. Best regards, Scottech.

Where is the TDM on a 1994 Buick Roadmaster

The theft module is in the bodu module. You can ohm the black pellet in the key. Buy a resistor from radio shack of the same resistance. Then at the base of the column find the two wire connector, it will be coated with an orange cover. Install the resistor in the harness side, and leave it unpluged from the column. Good Luck

1994 buick roadmaster serpentine belt installation

there is a belt tensioner that keeps the belt tight you have to either use a serpentine belt wrench or a breaker bar to move the tensioner to remove the belt. often times you can rent the serpentine belt wrench from a auto parts store like O'Reilly's for a small deposit which you get back after you return the wrench

Belt problem

If the belt has got oil soaked into it could be one reason why it is coming off. Check the belt tensioner. The spring may have become weak or the tensioner bearing is bad and the pulley is wobbling.

Not starting

The opti-spark distributor cap is below the water pump.
Often a leaking water pump will cause a short in the distributor
Due to the amount of time and labor cost to remove the water pump, and that fact that the water pump has to be removed to replace the distributor cap, it is a good idea to replace the distributor cap at the same time the water pump is replaced. The water pump is driven by a pinion shaft with an " O " ring. Be sure to replace the " O " ring too else you may shortly develop an oil leak at that point.

1994 Buick Roadmaster won't divert heat to defroster or floor

There is a vacuum line that's plastic on the passenger side back near the firewall. Sometime they have a little black ball looking thing (vacuum canister) that the vacuum line hooks to. Look for vacuum leaks in that area. That will cause the problem you described.
