take off wheel remove upper balljoint nut seperate ball joint from spindle remove big nut from center of wheel remove six bolts to inner axle and carefully knock axle out of hub repeat in reverse for install

go to junk yard buy new used brain and new used tbi unit put them on check fuses then start

I'm just thinking out loud. Turn the crank by hand while you watch the rotor, they should move together, if not, you got a problem. Can you check cylinder compression, if compression is really bad, you may never get it to run right? In the past on older vehicles, some of the them, the check engine lite wouldn't work, but, I could hook up a scanner that shows live engine data, hook- up to the aldl, it would show engine data, of course it wouldn't show codes.

The 700R4 requires no computer. That's what the TV Cable is- Activates the OverDrive without needing a computer. I don't think a 700R4 has a lockup. At least, None of the trucks I have driven have had one.
