How to install new fan belt
2000 maxima doesnt have a fan belt. fans are powered by 2 fan motors. 1 motor per fan. no belts to replace for fan.

code p0731 p0732 are internal gear ratio trans. codes and p0172 vehicle running rich can also be caused if vehicle trans. is slipping
Where is the egr valve on the V-6 Engine?
Not easy to see, but on drivers side of engine underneath intake manifold, so look for airflow intake tube, the larger air tube, and it is just below and to the firewall about middle of engine top to bottom. Hose comes out of it and two bolts hold it in, pretty easy to see once you know where it is located, but difficult to change. Sometimes just cleaning hose out will solve problem. Worth a try to buy EGR cleaner and spray and run a wire inside hose to loosen up carbon.

Driver window wont go up or down
Could be the window switch, the wire harness broken where the door swings on the hinges, the window drive motor, or a loose plugin connector.
Flipping sound like plastic
I would be looking for a broken splash panel under the front of the car hanging down but starts to flap as the road speed pushes more air under the car
check for broken mud flaps or seat belts hanging out under the door.
Do i need to take the TCU also when i salvage a automatic trans from a donor car?
the first thing that probably went wrong is that you spent money on a 2nd hand transmission when a chain would probably been cheaper
with the replacement transmission there could be any number of faults
the correct TCM may help as you say it was a different model but because it slotted straight in I am sceptical that that is the problem as different TCMs were used during the years of manufacturer
If you tried resetting the ECM with out using a scan tool then try that first
if it trying to start but not succeeding I would use a scan tool to check for faulty sensors and recheck all the harness connections to cam sensors and to the replacement box as the problem doesn't sound like a transmission fault but something that was done during the removal and replacement of the transmission
2000 nissan maxima radio fuse location
Fuse #1 (10 amp) that is in the fuse panel under the dash powers the radio. Fuse # 1 is in the top left corner. The power from fuse # 1 goes through the ignition switch, so if the fuse is good, check the ignition switch
Nissan Maxima cooling fans stay on
2000 Maxima GLE The wont cycle off after the engine temp is cooled down, I replaced the Rad.tstat,sensor,relays& pulled the water pump to make sure is it my?
did this just happen ?? Out of the blue ??,,,, sounds as if it is hard wired ,,,,look for any jumper wires attached to the plug on your fan
