Check near fuel tank.

Perhaps when a fusible link melted it crossed some wires and blew an unrelated fuse. Cut open the wrapping on the bundle of wires under the hood coming from the firewall and see if anything is melted. If so look for the fusible link and replace.

i have had that problem before its most likely a dirty throttle body or a bad throttle position sensor or air idle control sensor some times cleaning the sensors will work before changing them

look under hood engine compartment in the fuse relay box.should find it.

You need to start with the basics ,get a new cable then only disconnect one side at a time that way you know where to hook it back up.the positive will run to your alternator and your starter so you will need to get under the car.MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE SIDE BEFORE DOING ANY WORK AND START AT THE STARTER AND WORK YOUR WAY BACK UP TO THE BATTERY.
