2000 gdi 4g94 galant. fault,

Has this always bee like this ?? If so thats because your cars computer is programed that way, Different cars are programmed differently, depending on their use, for example sport cars are programmed to be faster and pull more air and fuel to run faster. But those for home or economy use like yours is set up to be economical. If you want this changed speak to a local car garage specializing in fast cars and modding, they will be able to reprogram your cars cpu or replace it with a modded one.

If that wasnt always so then have a diagnostic done on the cars computer, to look at the throttle body position sensor, oxygen sensor, fuel pressure sensor and electronic accelerator one of those are malfunctioning an needs changing.

My Mitsubishi Galant 1997 does

Hi, has your battery light been coming on? Will the car jump start off another car battery? If yes, I would guess your alternator has failed. To verify, jump start the car, remove the jumper cables, and use a voltmeter to check voltage at the battery. Voltage shoule be at least 14 with engine running and no jumper cables. If less than 14, remove the alternator and have it tested at your local parts chain. If you have questions or need instructions for removing the alternator, please let me know.

How do i replace starter on a 1997 galant

Before you start, be sure to disconnect the battery. The starter is located between the firewall and the engine, underneath fuel injection assembly. Stick your hand in there and you should be able to feel how the starter is positioned. There are 2 or 3 bolts holding the starter and they're easy to remove. You need to disconnect the wire on the starter coil (the coil is located on top of the starter itself).

Now the fun part: removing the the starter itself. The way I did it is by wriggling it out the open space on the left side of the engine, hence the tight fit. Move any cables or wires that may get in the way for more room. (Important advice: Remember, patience is a virtue!)And there ya go! To install/re-install the starter just do the reverse. It's a lot easier to put it back in than removing it.

I need the code to

You will most likely have to go to the dealer as these are not universal codes. These are security codes. I would suggest going to your local dealer or take the serial number from the back of the radio and calling up mitsubishi.
Hope i could help.
