Number one tip, never pull fuses to check them. On top of each fuse there are two connectors for you to use the probes of a test meter on it.
You disconnected the power to the antitheft system, so you have to do the Relearn Procedure.
The rod torque specs are 15ft/lbs plus 90deg turn. To know more about the overall torque sequence, please follow the steps mentioned in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv0Y1t2LDGI
I think you have air in the anti-lock module (ebcm). Power bleeding will clear the air out, but costs $$ . If you have time try this. Keep an eye on the fluid level or better yet have someone help, loosen all the bleeders until they just drip let them drip until you've used a pint of fluid then tighten the bleeders and see how it feels if there are bleeders on the anti-lock unit do this separately. If this fails you'll have to get to a shop with a pressure bleeder. I hope this helps. Take care.
There should be 2 wires connected to the defrost element. You will need a meter which measures 12 volt DC. When you turn on the defrost, it should measure 12 volts DC across these 2 wires. If there is no voltage, you have a power supply fault. Broken wire of switch. If voltage is there, then there will be a break in the defrost element. These can be repaired. There is a special type of glue / repair kit that can be purchased from most Auto part stores.
There's a website that has all this information about all this and manuals everything totally free there are many actually but I personally like few reliable-store for eg. .. let me know if u need help
thanks
Are you talking about swapping the entire Diff assembly? If you are you will need to measure several things like axle width, suspension mounting positions and check to see if all the suspension mounting points match. If it bolts to the Diff it MUST line up.
Unless you have cracked or damaged the outer housing most Diffs can be completely stripped down and overhauled. You might be able to rescue the one you have.
Check the power wires between the headlights and the fuse box for damage. Sounds like you have a power line short to ground. Meaning the wire that supplies 12 volts to the headlight is making contact with a grounding wire or touching bare metal somewhere between the fuse box and the headlight. Internet search a wire diagram to use as a map before you start the wire trace.
