Hi Lennie you need to detach and remove the glass altogether to replace the regulator. When you remove the door cover you can see the bolts holding the reg in place. At the bottom of the glass are two clamps with clips or bolts holding the glass to the reg. when you have the glass out then remove the reg bolts and the wiring harness. Refit all in reverse order.
