Did you test the multi function switch? Sometimes they're bad right from the box. Also verify the new switch against the old switch and make sure they're identical. Finally make sure that you didn't accidentally dislodge any of the wires going to the switch. I accidentally pulled one of the wires out just enough that it lost contact.. After pushing on all of the wires I was able to reseat the wires. Good luck.
make sure you have a fully charged battery turn on the ignition with out starting the vehicle let sit in on position for 10 to 15 minute then start it may take a few attempts
Sounds like you have a electrical short in the brake light switch. Finding electrical issues can be a bit tricky but I would start with the under dash relay you hear clicking when you depress the brake pedal.
sounds like it may be the pin for the shifter came out or it is loose, or possibly the cable or rod came loose or broken. take the covers off the steering wheel lower part plastics to the shift and have a look to see what happened. do not remove any thing that is electric with out disconnecting the batt
on the front of the shift knob you will see an area that has a metal clip, using a flat tip screwdriver pry out this clip as you pry it out you will see it is a u shape clip, once you remove this clip the shift knob pulls up and off. then just pull up on the center console cover where the indicators are at, this cover just snaps in, the bulb can be access
Put a pressure tester on the radiator an pump it up to about 12 psi and see if you find the leaking area. Look closely at the top end of the head where the intake manifold connects to the head, The intake manifold is a weak spot on the engine and will leak coolant to the outside of the engine or into the oil system. The coolant can follow the valve cover edge and drip down around the area that you are indicating. Also if you have had rain, it could be rain water.
If its bad the car usually goes haywire. Injector drivers r common to wear out. Unplug it n clean that area then connect back..half the time it comes back or git car scand w a factorytool..codereaders dont giv that info
yes, because the master cylinder should let out equal pressure to both the back breaks. somthing might be causing the break to clamp harder than the other.
To check this out you must remove the shift handle by using a butter knife to remove a horseshoe clip facing the very front of the handles shank. Then remove the shifter plate to check the cables
How is the brake fluid level in the master cylinder? If it's low, the brake light will come on. The right rear wheel and drum need to be removed to inspect the brakes and see what is going on. Your description sounds like there may be some brake hardware floating around inside the drum. Let me know what u find. Curt
