Try cleaning the magnito and coil.

Have you checked the main fuse? Why did you change out the solenoid? If it was faulty then good enough reason, otherwise these bikes are finicky you need to replace with same type and same wiring. There is only a couple of types.
Try putting the old solenoid back in, if it isn't faulty and see if it starts.

could be the spring is worn,loose, or you have taken it out before you didn't tighten up the spring.

sounds like the gas that was left in the carb. has turned bad and clogged the jets. the only right way to fix it is to pull the carb off the bike and take the bottom bowl off. once done you can take some carb. cleaner and spray out all the jets and crevices inside the carb. hopefully this fixes your problem. if not then you will need to pull the carb. completely apart and give it a good soaking. once you have soaked it for an hour or so take some compressed air and blow out any holes. be sure to blow it out good. once done put the carb. back together and give it a shot. this should fix it right up for ya.

did you figure out the problem because mine just did the same thing.

should be 12v

Sounds like the idle jet is clogged

it should only be 4 to 6 screws holding it on the right side and 1 wire on the left side that would hav to be removed and it should be rtight under the seat on top of everything else

Sure - it is worth fixing when a new one is 2300

pretty simple..take both hubs off each side..remove the two axle lock nuts. axle will only pull out to one side..not sure exactly whicj side. take a hammer and punch to the our race of each bearing. press not pound the new bearing in and use lots of grease.
