Either the disc is already finalized or there isn't enough space on the disc for finalization. Check if you have Auto-finalize enabled. Press Setup and go to the line "General Settings" with the up/down arrows. Press Enter. Then select Recording and Enter. Go to the Auto Finalize line and press Enter. Check both Disc Full and End of Timer Rec and see if these are set to On or Off. This option is explained on page 27 of the manual (page 29 of the PDF available from Funai Service http://www.funaiservice.com/manuals/SYLVANIA/ZC320SL8/ZC320SL8.PDF ). Partial answer, right click anywhere on a blank area f laptop screen, go to properties an left click, you should see options for adding a external screen, add it. You can also locate the tiny screen emblem on upper keys on the laptop and press this key while plugging in the HDMI cord this sometimes will do the trick. Also get the source menu up on TV and choose HDMI 1 good luck.

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. I think I cracked the code on this inexpensive but potentially infuriating little clock.When you first plug it in, it goes into STANDBY mode (identified by flashing ":" in the time display). In this mode, you set the time, alarms, preset radio stations, etc. Once these are set, you go into NORMAL mode by pressing the SOURCE button (in the back row). In NORMAL mode, the : in the time display is steady. In different modes, the middle row and front row buttons do different things. To return to STANDBY, you have to unplug the cord briefly and plug it back in. In STANDBY, the (front row buttons) AL-1 & AL-2 allow you to "cycle through" [buzzer-radio-off ] options for each alarm , and alter the time setting for each alarm (middle buttons). Once set, just wait and it will accept the new setting and display. In NORMAL, the front row buttons raise or lower the volume of the radio. CAUTION: if you chose the radio setting for an alarm, and set the volume to 0, it will not wake you up! The middle row buttons only do anything when the radio is playing (SOURCE in the back row), when they can be used to tune the radio up and down, or move to preset station. Note that the SOURCE button is also used to select Blutooth sync, indicated by the blinking Bluetooth light on the right side of the display. To stop this from blinking, press SOURCE until AU (for auxiliary) appears and simply wait until it returns to NORMAL display. Hope that helps.

There is no code!!! -- Solution...You have to buy a universal remote with learning capabilities. I’ve ordered one that will not only learn off other remotes but can handle 10 components also. I got it from 10x it’s called the iconRemote control…if you call the company they will give you a discount (but you have to call them and ask) AWESOME!

The paperwork that come with the remote should have a list of devices and a number to enter for each. There should also be a method to press button combinations till you find a fit.
