RCA Service Menu Instructions In order to access the service menu on your RCA TV you will need to have a remote, if your remote is lost or damaged we recommend that you purchase a Replacement Remote before trying to access the service menu on your set. Method 1

1. Press the INPUT button on the remote.
2. Then press the 2, 5, 8, 0 buttons in quick succession.

Method 2

1. Press the MENU button on the remote.
2. Then press the 1, 1, 4, 7 buttons in quick succession.

Hi, bluetooth means that you'll be using a wireless connection. You'll need t set the soundbar bluetooth connection on by first turning on the bluetooth connection within your Upstart 27 tv. Once the tv connection is on then you'll need to activate the bluetooth device search from your Bowfell and search for your tv in order to pair the 2 devices. You might need to reference the soundbar manual to understand what unique buttons on your device to use to move forward with the strategies that I've listed above. Thank you.

Is it a projection set without a model number I can only make a guess. If your using "component cables' on it, one of them isn't plugged all the way in or the cable broke while unplugging it, swap out the cble and let me know. Thanks Techman 57

Remove the wall plug for 5 minutes and plug it back in. It looks like that set is a Walmart special, so it will be cheaply made. The swollen electrolytic cap dose indicate defect but, also may mean a run-away voltage from an open zener diode or shorted regulator which regulates voltage. With luck, replacing the cap may do it, but may not complete the needed remedy. If you are not proficient with soldering or PC board work, I would strongly suggest taking unit to qualified service for complete analysis and repair

Yes you can get screen assemblies from www.tvrepairworld.com send them a email if you only need the outer panel as thats a three panel screen system.

I see this a lot at the shop. the front panel buttons have become damaged. The best coarse of action is to replace the front button circuit board assembly... **** there is a temporary fix until you get the part... remove the front panel and take button circuit board out...just use remote to control the tv. This is also a way to test to see if this is the problem.. if you remove the connector to the buttons and the problem goes away then the buttons are the problem. you get get this circuit board at union electronics. You have to get the extended model number off the back usually d52w20yx1 or yx2 or yx something...not to difficult a repair
