It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

My RCA model rdr323 keeps shutting down after 10 to 20 minutes after starting?
say the word drying
it is not RCV radio. at all , posted to TV video
the dryer vents are clogged or vent screen
or inside the dryer is full of lint and ever cleaned. (dismantlement)
RCA 3.75-cu ft Ventless Electric Dryer (White)
I have no idea how ventless works seems like fantacy
but there will always be lint so we know that , so how do they manage lint, (a filter is the only way ) so clean it.
it shuts down from sensors inside seeing it oveheat.
if not filter packed it needs tech service,
I changed my RCA TV main board & now picture is split in 2 and not crisp
Hi Tony, I bought a board from TVPARTS in Canada and now I have the very same problem. I have a 55" RLED5536. What is your model?
The man at TVPARTS said the board has to be reset by a technician and I can't do it at home I asked him why didn't he reset it before sending and I received no answer.
There is no reset button. I have tried the reset by holding power button after unplugging the TV and that did not work. I cannot reset it using the menu.
So did you buy it from the same store? Did you replace the TCON board too or just the main board?
Most of these main boards come from Canada because RCA is owned by Curtis.
Rca led52b55r120q wont turn on. the red light comes on when plugged in but when power button is pressed red light turn off and tv does not turn on.
Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Hannspree wont turn on, intermittent power light?
HI, I'm not familiar with this brand set but in most cases, you can't replace a main board from another size set and have it work. I'd get the right board and see if that fixes it. I'd say the power supply voltages are ok, anything within 10% of rated should be ok, but the voltage to the tcon doesn't sound right, again a main board issue.
RCA LED55C55R120Q PUSH POWER BUTTON MULTIPLE TIMES TO TURN ON
That has to be one of the longest questions I've seen on here but unfortunately it doesn't help figure out what's going on, you've replaced the power supply a couple times, but you didn't say anything about testing the 5 and 12 volt rails to see if you have the correct voltage and if it's free of ripple. Have you tested the "on pin" on the power board to see if the power supply is being commanded to come out of sleep mode and turn on? Another thing to test is the on command to the main board, I'd have to pull a service manual to see what it should be but generally it's around 2.5 volts on most Funai brand sets. To be able to repair a TV it generally takes some electrical engineering knowledge and takes more than just replace some boards and hope it helps.
