Replace inner oven door glass on kitchenaid wall oven

To replace the door glass do the following:

0 Check if there is a hinge stop bracket located at the hinge point of entry on the oven, in that case remove it.
1 remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
3Removethe inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take note of theorder you remove them. You will follow reverse order in reassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

I also report testimonials for your model:

"
removed the door from the oven by releasing clips attached to the door hinge -- very nicely engineered. Removed about 6 philips head screws to allow the door assembly to be taken apart for access to the glass. Lifted out the broken glass, cleaned the inside of the door, installed the new glass, reassembled the door (a two minute project), and reattached the door to the oven. Cleaning the inside of the door"

"
I removed the oven door by lifting it off with the hinges. Disassembled the door parts one at time making sure I remember where I removed the screws until I am able to get to the broken glass. The most difficult part is making sure that the insulation strip & the gasket stayed in place after I replaced the broken glass & doing the reverse process of installing the parts together. Relatively easy process as long as you remember where the parts go. When in doubt, I had to refer to the pictorial of the disassembled door shown on your website. "

My Kitchenaid Oven doesn't allow me to set a temperature higher that 350 degrees. Electric oven. For example, i will punch in 425 and the panel will default back the temperature to 350.

350 will be the design max for your oven unless the handbook says for your model is higher rated and is faulty repair or replace with a higher rated temp oven

The probe light is on as well as the question remove probe or enter probe temp. This will not go away. We never used this option. We turned breaker off for 10minutes or longer... Pushed some buttons .

Make sure there is not food residue on the probe jack, it will ground the jack and make the control "think" the probe is in use. You can also send the control in to be refurbished... the solder joints on all of these machines are failing badly by now...

Error message F6E6.What does this mean?

Although fault code "F6E6" most often indicates a communication failure between the User Interface and Appliance Manager board (Service Pointer W10538518), it could also indicate an incorrect electrical connection at the customer's home junction box. Sounds like you have some wires crossed!

Oven keypad is completely black but inside oven lights work. does keypad have a separate fuse?

Yes. Many of these have a display thermal fuse that is part of the wiring harness that connects to the board... it should have continuity. WP4451042. Almost all models have what is called the "oven shut-down thermal fuse" which is on the back of the machine ( you have to pull it out of the wall and remove the back panel) and looks like this KitchenAid Range Stove Oven Thermal Fuse WP9759242

My convection oven ring does not work

These tend to crack and "unzip" because they are such a tight circle... Kill the power, and meter the ring element for ohm's resistance. If the element tests ok, check the wires to the element for overheating, and if those look fine, remove the control board and look for burnt solder joints where the relays are mounted. Kitchenaid Superba Gas oven and cooktop. I frequently get a F2: E1 code, which goes away when I reset the fuse. Also, the 1, 4, and 7 touch pads don't work but all others do.

You have a bad touchpad. The ribbon cable is a failure point on all of these whirlpool built ovens. Enter the model number in at this link and see if they make a replacement keypad for your oven: Introducing the Ledgestone Technologies Touchpad
