The oven will not heat up, it will say start, I

Good morning, the fan noise is probably the cooling fan in the control compartment. With an electric oven, it could be a resettable thermostat that tripped and needs to be reset. Or it could be a bad heating element. Display will display lot if it can't bring the oven temp up. Hope that helps.

I have a KitchenAid Double oven KEBC208KSS02. The fan makes a loud noise from the time i turn on the oven (same for either the upper or the lower unit) until a few minutes after I turn it off. Everyth

It sounds like the fan itself is bad. they can get loose and start to rattle or rub against the frame.

Fan makes noise turn noisy

If this noise is happening when the oven is off as well, it is a problem with the cooling fan that draws hot air out of the oven. These fans go bad after a few years and need to be replaced or repaired. Not a difficult fix, but the oven unit needs to be removed fromm the wall cabinet which is a two person job. There are several web sites that sell the part. Try www.appliancepartspros.com or www.partselect.com. The part number is either PS992856 or PS2348323 so I would call one of these companies and ask for help on the exact part you need.

We have had nothing but problems with this oven -

Absolutly could of course be the EOC (electronic oven control) since it does control both the upper and lower over. Sorry for your luck but just because a part has a high failure rate that manufacture isnt required ti issue a recall as long as thier isnt a saftey issue such as potential fire or what have ye

Lost power now oven won't do anything...

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.
