small black rectangular float is stuck in the water tanks . take off tank and empty. then shake you will see it on the side wall (machine side) if it does not rise when water is filled the machine still thinks its empty
First of all the solution IS NOT in the manual. Second of all, you shouldn't go taking the grinder apart. It is soooooooo simple. You just have to rotate the black part where the long **** is counter clockwise until it's at about 2 o'clock. The blade slips right off. I saw a post about someone sending it in for repair for this same problem. It must be a lie because this is not a problem that needs a repair solution. It is a very simple fix. No tools no springs popping out at you, no nothing. Again, Just hold onto the black part with the ****. It moves. Turn it counterclockwise to about 2 o'clock. The blade slips off.
Hi Lflaher
If you can't see any screws then the machine uses snap fasteners.
Until you see one of the clips & their spacing it's hard to figure out.
Use a thin clean paint scraper or credit card type tool to lift & pry one of the plastic panels until you see or feel or hear the plastic clip pop. After the first one the task becomes easier.
Take photos as you go for use on re assembly.

The stuff we go through for a good coffee....
Good Luck

It works (after 4 hours of hunting, scraping, filing etc - it works like a charm - photo attached, I hope. Thank you RB5193!
Just fixed this same problem by taking apart the water solenoid valve and cleaning out its connection tube of deposits that was blocking water/steam flow. I removed the magnetic coil but that's not required. The connector was very tight because it had loctite sealer on the threads. I used plumbers teflon tape on the threads when reassembling.
I think you ment kaffeestudio.de and their webshop redirects to http://www.juraprofi.de/Service-Anleitungen:_:70.html Eg http://www.juraprofi.de/anleitungen/E-Serie_Innen.pdf
It is possible that the timer unit in the maker is defective and need to be replaced. I would suggest you move the coffee maker to a different outlet and see if you have the same problem. If there is a short in the mechanism or a bad connection in the timer it could be experiencing a thermal shutdown.
I have 3 different coffee machines and all 3 are descaling like you said using only the froter so that is normal .... Unless you misstyped the question
