There is a solenoid that operates the door that could have stopped working. Can you hear it?
The hinge on the door could be broken or the bracket it goes in could be broken. You'll have to look to see what's wrong.
Part 405a on this DIAGRAM is your solenoid. See if the diagram will help in the dis assembly.
Here is the LINK for your model.

Hello,
The solution is for you to take out the door and try to fix it back in, that way it will solve both problem for you.
You will need to unplug the fridge or unplug the wires going to the dispenser from behind the grill at the bottom of the fridge. Pop off the front cover over the switches and pop off the soft button cover that you mash to activate the dispenser. You will see the screws that hold the dispenser assembly to the housing. remove them and the unit will slide toward you.
That way you will be able to remove the panel and assess it.
Hope this helped.
Goodluck

First, the wiring for the door functions are on top, not the bottom of the door. The plastic tubing for water supply are on the bottom. Secondly, after prying off the rubber pad, there are no screws behind it.
With all due respect, first response was of no use whatsoever. As previously stated this is a L.G. fridge model #LRSC26915TT. The ice door is hanging down far enough to be hitting the rubber water dispensing spout, and will therefore not close. I imagine that some plastic piece is broken inside, or that a spring has come loose or snapped. I have popped the bezel off, but I can't get it out because it hits the ice funnel which is fixed in place and I can see no attachment method. What am I missing?
