SOURCE: Braun Tassimo Coffee
It's most probably from the overflow which is situated behind the splashback. When the machine leaks from there it generally means that it needs to be descaled. You can use a general descaling agent powder. dissolve it into the water container filled to max, with the cleaning disc run a few cycles with 15 minute gaps between each cycle. after it should be fine.

I found a website under Braun that had the operating manual in pdf.
SOURCE: starts fine, but loses fizzle at the end
I had the exact same issue and was finally able to fix it today! The problem was the air pump was losing pressure and not pushing anything through the tube that's supposed to clean out the remaining water from a brewed disc. I didn't take any pictures, and the machine is already back together, so I'll just describe it the best I can. Every screw I had to remove was a T10 torx head. First, remove both silver plastic sides. To do this, remove the cup holder and the black plastic piece that the cup holder sits in. Also remove the water container from the back. Each side is held on with 4 screws, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. Remove those and take the sides off. Then you need to remove 4 more screws in order to take the top part off. 2 are on either side of the beverage disc holder, and 2 are in the back, halfway up the channel where the water container sits (facing down). Lift the top off, and you'll see a plastic, open topped gear case. That's the air pump assembly. Push the rubber strap that's over the top of it aside so you can lift the whole gear and motor mechanism out of its rubber holder (don't disconnect any tubes, just get it free from the rubber sleeve). Once you've done that, you need to remove the back of the plastic gear housing, which is just a piece of plastic clipped to the rest of the housing. You'll then see the rubber diaphragm that is the air pump. It's connected to the gears by a black piece of plastic sitting over the top of the gearing. You can slip that over the top of the gear and pull the diaphragm out. For the next step, I used petroleum jelly, but you can use whatever you think would work to help the rubber seal to the plastic and not let air leak out. Rub the edges of the rubber with the petroleum jelly (avoid the little flaps - you don't want those to stick to the plastic). That's it! Just reassemble everything and give it a shot. I was amazed that this worked as well as it did. It works like new now!
I hope this helps save some time and troubleshooting!
SOURCE: NOT SO GREAT COFFEE GROUNDS!
Might there be some stuff crusting the dispanser vent? Did you clean it regularly? If you've not done that, this is what you do:
1) Open up the lid where the T-Disc is supposed to go.
2) Take out any moveable (not breakable) object, for instance the thing that punctuates the T-Disc(its made of two parts stuck together) and the T-Disc holder.
3) Take 'em apart and put 'em into your dishwasher or wash it by hand.
4) Wipe the entire T-disc area with a damp cloth, make sure nothing stays there that isn't supposed to be there.
5) Put the removed and cleaned parts back very carefully and watch out that they are exactly in place, if in doubt wheter they are fitted correctly, just shake them a little. There should be no movement other than up and down.
6) Enjoy your coffee!

I have the same machine, Braun KF180 12 Cup Coffee Maker. In normal operation the brew cycle is stopped when the water reservoir is empty. The only way the coffee maker knows if that is true is when the water-brewing heater gets too hot. Your brewing heater is probably encrusted with calcium deposits if you have been heavily using the coffee maker. Vinegar will work but it is weak and you will have to cycle this solution through many many times. You should instead use "Lime Away" or "CLR" and let it sit there in a brew cycle or multiple brew cycles for a while. NOTE: Remove the filter when cleaning this way and when the brew cycle is complete, rinse thoroughly -- your taste buds will let you know if the machine is not rinsed thoroughly. -- Good Luck!!
