Half a dozen reasons... If it's exactly 15 min maybe a timer is set? If it's only when it's played loudly or when a bass part is played it could be the wires touching each other.
I just fixed this using Scarthhouse's solution of removing the sensor assembly, cog, and squeezing the rack (of the rack and pinion) together (I squeezed the metal bar upwards). I'm not even electronically-inclined, so I'm ecstatic that this fixed the used 300 Sony disk player I just purchased.
well if they are used they either have really bad scraches or fingerprints or it can just be both.But here is a really cheap suggestion to help u first if u dont have any carnuba car wax go buy some and put the wax on there then wait for a few min.then u wipe all of it offreally good till u cant see it no more and what that does the wax fills in the scraches and cleans away the fingerprints.
your dvd player is just unable to read the type of dvd you want it to play or there is something wrong with the dvd you are trying to play. could be some scraches or something.
try cleaning the eye with a que-tip and rubbing alcahol let it dry for about 2 mins and try again if this dosent work make sure the cd isent to scrached if neather of these work your eye controler that reads the cds has gone bad and theres really nothing you can do about it except throw it out
i had the same problem with my mp3 player i thnk the problem is the songs are errored or the battery might be dead or the cd you burned on the computer maybe their was scraches on the disc
Check whether your DVD's that makes the media player to stuck. If those disks are scrached,it makes the ROM difficult to get data from it and when stucks at one point the ROM goes on trying get that the data at that point even thought it's immpossible.This causes the player to Freeze.Need More help?
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT ON MINE I HAD TO REWIRE THE FAN WHERE IT HAD WENT OUT IT WAS REAL SIMPLE.JUST TAKE THE BACK OFF OF OT AND UNCLIP THE FAN WIRES AND SPLICE THEM INTO THE HOT AND GROUND WIRES THAT RUN RIGHT BESIDE IT (THE MAIN HOT AND GROUND) .IT WAS GOING TO COST ME 85 DOLLARS TO HAVE IT FIXED IT ONLY TOOK ME ABOUT 30 MIN.AND I DID IT MYSELF.GOOD LUCK
