Messages are full, but don't want to delete (sentimental) can I buy a new tape?

If yours is a cassette or other type tape recording answering device - check that the tape hasn't broken. If a digital recorder / or cassette tape type, be sure that the recorder isn't full or that you're at the end of the tape. Erase / delete old messages to recapture recording space. There are two ways that you can deal with this. One is to buy an extra memory card and the other is to go through the items on your phone and delete stuff that you don't need,. this is probably the better way. Start with text messages. Go through the whole menu deleting messages, sent messages delivery reports, all the old stuff you had forgotten was on there. Next look at images. These are very memory hungry, delete ones that you never look at. The same with videos and audio recordings. This process will take a little while, but you should find that you have freed up quite a lot of memory.

Buy a new SD card to expand its memory or delete any old messages, photos, videos, and music you don't plan on keeping.

There is only a certain amount of room allocated to save messages on an answering machine, whether it be digital or audio tape (memory). To make more room for new messages, older ones have to be deleted. I hope this helps and good luck!

One of the best things to try is to forward the messages to your personal e-mail account. Depending on how your phone contact list is laid out you can create a new contact and have only yourr personal email address as the contact or when you choose who to send your message to it might say new email address and select that.

Open the message you want to save and then go in to the options menu (should be the same area where you select to reply) and then choose forward to, and then where to send it. It works on the same principal as a normal e-mail.

Sounds to me like the belt drive is slipping!
Need to open her up and check tightness of belt and probably try to buy another one which will be tighter!
