My Dell Inspiron 1525 is stuck in "hybernation." It will not let me "control, alt, delete" and I've even tried removing and reinstalling the battery. Help! Thank you!

Press and hold down the power button until the computer shuts off. Then wait at least ten seconds and power it back on.
While it is booting up and you see the Dell logo on the screen, press and hold the F8 button. When the next screen appears, you will see a list of options for how you would like to continue the boot up process. Highlight the option titled "last known good configuration" and press enter. Your computer will restart and load up with all of the settings previously used before it began giving you problems.

How to unlock my dell laptop

If you can tell me what the Os do you use, it could be must better.

On XP you can try this:
Boot computer and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice when you See Windows welcome screen / login screen. It'll show classic login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in username field and leave password field blank, press Enter and you should be able to login Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".

On Win 7 or Vista:
Ctrl+Alt+Delete won't work, you have to use some windows password reset tool. I recommend Windows Password Reset.

1525 wont come out of hybernation and the battery wont hold a charge either. Ive tried removing the battery, pushin the power button, lettin it die n try bootin up. Its stuck in hybernation, help me...

Hybernation is one of the worst idea's that microsoft has come out with, it usually ends up corrupting windows making it useless. The only option is a fresh install of windows, and I recommend the hybernation feature be disabled. The battery may start to charge when the new operational windows is running, if not! replacement needed.

Once the computer is turned on, a black screen pops up with the message, "A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart". I've done that and it comes back to the same screen. Any...

Your laptop is not reading the hard drive correctly hence the error. Its more than likely that the drive is finished and a new one is required. Bad luck as you have probably lost all the data on it. You could remove and refit it in case of a bad connection. If it does work then back it up straight away just in case it fails again.

Cant open my laptop "bootmgr

It looks like you are going to use those recovery disk you were suppose to make when you got the computer. I refer you to http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistasetup/thread/e6b22272-3849-4625-a218-a9d49031f73c that has a write up on recovery.

I can not open and application.......it is stuck in the mode where you have the continuous circle like it is trying to open an application

Hold CTRL + ALT + Delete and open the task manager to close the program. If that doesn't work, log-off then log back on. If the program is still hung up and won't open, you may have to unintall and reinstall that program as a last resort.

Shut down your inspiron. Press each and every key on your keyboard and check whether its stuck or not. If you find any key which is stuck, just try to release it by pulling it very softly.
