Windows won't launch, green check screen comes up,tried everything!!

I had something like this with a tower computer. I couldn't tell if it was the graphics card or the motherboard. I ended up dumping the computer. I saved the graphics card, but need to test it in another computer. I am guessing it is not loading because you may have switched it off at some point because of the checked green screen and may have damaged the operating system. Firstly, can you change the graphics card for another to see if this gets rid of the checked green screen. If this works, it won't adress it not loading, but could get rid of the checked green screen which is the first problem to deal with.

I have a syncmaster 400p i need a new graphic processor can u reccomend a compatible one

Good day,

If your screen has a VGA, DVI, or HDMI port, most of the new graphics cards will be compatible with your screen. Most graphics cards come standard with DVI ports and include a vga adapter for the screen cable. Some of the new graphics cards come with HDMI and DVI ports or a HDMI converter if you want to use HDMI.

I would recommend a Nvidia graphics card. Depending on what your primary use is going to be they have an extensive range to cater for your requirements and price range.

Hope this helps!

Graphic card problem.

Your graphics card is bad. The reason you don't see it on your bios screen is because it is not displaying in the high resolution high color graphics. Once your card starts displaying high resolution high color, then you get the lines. You need to replace your graphics card.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
