Hi we have a fisher and paykel 7.5 kg top loader washing machine, product wa75t65gw1. It was purchased in September last year and has a 4 year extend warranty. It has recently started leaking from under the machine-sometimes there is a lot of water. what would cause this? regards Alistair Cochrane

It is a motor stall. You need a technician.

this is usually a blocked or jammed pump something is stick in there remove the pump check

its common on these machines especially the bigger ones,chances are the suspension rods are worn out and need replacing

Your water valves are 24volt,
should read 60 to 64 Ohms on a multimeter.
Your error code 49 is Cold valve faulty in your machine.
1 amp fuse and 1 of the Mosfets on the board are blown.
You need to get a Technician to replace the parts.

Hi just read your posting.Have you selected cold only?Are the hoses from the taps going to the correct water valve?Cold tap to c on the machine and hot tap to h on the machine.What is the model number of the machine?The model number sticker is on the back of the machine up top.Please reply with additional information and I am sure I can help rectify the fault.Looking forward to your reply/

is there any status lights blinking indicating an error code ... open top console and remove tech sheet each indicator light blinking has a numerical value add each indiacator light together per tech shheet and that will give a total number and read error code

Hi just read your posting.Now does your machine show an ERROR CODE? After you have restarted your machine does it go throe the complete cycle?Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you on this problem.

Do not be unhappy with your machine. Believe me, many brands that cost much more than the Fisher & Paykel have circut boards go out on them as well. First of all you machine is still in warranty if it is only one and a half years old since the machine has a two year warranty. Other manufacturers only have one year even if they cost much more to purchase. Be thankful that you are entitled to a repair at NO Charge! I have sold appliances for 34 years and sell multible brand names. I can assure you that based on the lack of quality manufacturers have been delivering to the public over the last ten years you have made the best desicion when you purchased your Fisher & Paykel. Most washers have between 350 and 400 parts in them to create a potential of failure. the Fisher & Paykel has only around 70 parts total. We have sold them for over ten years and it is the best product in our store bar none! Remember, you are still in warranty so your repair will cost you nothing!

I too am having this problem.  I am checking out if anyone has a solution.  Somewhere someone said to change the "Fill switch"  I don't know what that is or where it is.  Does this help?  If you have found anything let me know. [email protected]

Sounds like the pump motor is overheating. Probably need a new one.
