SOURCE: Working, but not blowing mist.
FTR 02N is simply a high frequency transistor. Try to replace it to another type. I have seen FTR 02N in my ultrasonic nebuliser (it's now working.
I think ideal solution is replace all generator circuit. connect a 5 Ohm resistor parallel to the piezoelectric us emitter. Then find simple circuit of negative differential resistor, connect it in series with the emitter to adjustable power supply, then adjust voltage for maximum generating.

The Problem is minerals in the water. Impeller and ultrasonic designs send these minerals into the air. If the water in your area contains a lot of minerals, you will notice them as dust. The EPA does not issue health warnings about minerals in the air, but does recommend using low-mineral water (such as distilled water) in your humidifier. Many ultrasonic models feature a demineralization cartridge that filters minerals out of the water to prevent the dust.
Good Luck.
SOURCE: Humidifier mist won't come out of tube
sounds like the small fan that is located in the base isn`t pushing the mist out. unplug it then take all the screws out of the base. there are screws under the black foam stands too. be careful not to touch anything that looks like live wires while you look inside then look inside while it is pluged in. it should turn. check for something blocking it like lint or dirt..you may be able to clean around the shaft with w d 40
SOURCE: sunbeam ultrasonic humidifier runs but produces no mist
It sounds very much like the transducer has failed. This is likely a crystal transducer and since they produce the agitation that should cause a mist, they are running continuously; not a good thing for something that is trying to shake iteslf apart all the time.
These require input from a circuit that produces the fairly high level of power needed to drive the crystal so it could also be the source of the problem.
This isn't something an owner is able to diagnose unless they have some technical training.

if you mean by stone build up, you need a de scaler such as clr from any hardware store. let it soak on the crusty parts overnight the rinse well with water. toothbrush helps too.
