I checked wal-mart near me and they have them. If you have a wal-mart near you call them to see if they have them also

The Sunbeam SUL2512 Humidifier has three parts. From the top down:
Water tank
mist collar
Base unit

If the cap of the water tank (which contains a float valve) does not seal you may get excessive flow into the base unit which provides a working reservoir.

The base unit contains all the electronics including the cool mist transducer. This is a silver disk with a black silicone seal surrounding it. This is the only other place a leak can develop.

Go to Walmart and get Canned Air used to blow out debris from keyboards etc. Place the air tube near the fan vents and blow out debris. Keep the can up-right. Should you turn it upside-down, you will FREEZE everything, so do it correctly.

If the water valve from the water container to the misting head is defective, contains particles, or fails to open; then no activity will occur. Clean the system with Vinegar solution and be certain to use distilled or filtered water in the future.

Generally a shut down is due to an empty water container or the float valve. If you have a can of compressed air, you can blow dry the integral ports and perhaps free up any contamination that has caused the unit to shut down.

Try Googling (sunbeam)(swm2441)(manual) without parens for instructions.

This humidifier is AMAZING. I’m a huge fan of using essential oils (lavender, lemongrass, spruce, rose, sandalwood etc) and I picked this up from a thrift shop, added some essential oils to the water and my house smells wonderful.

Essential oil diffusers are virtually the same thing design wise except cost a fortune. This is my best diffuser! I paid $10 for it and it works so good, throws off a ton of mist which I love (it’s so dry here) and I will enjoy owning this unit for years to come. Only thing is to gently clean the little ionizer part with the brush gently and keep it clean. Also..this unit unlike newer ones does NOT shut off automatically so keep an eye on it. Running it dry might cause it to burn out.
