On your model it does not have a dvd/cd rom built in. You will need to buy a external dvd/cd drive and hook it up through your usb port. Go into your operating system, then plug in the cable into the usb port. Turn on the Dvd/Cd, and windows should pop up of a hardware detect. If disc if provide with the external dvd/cd drive, use that and install the driver from that cd, you should be good to go.
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager
Click [+] next to DVD/CD-ROM drives, double-click the drive in question. In Properties tab, make sure the box is ticked next to Enable Digital CD-Audio for this Device
The standard specs for all of the 5536 models show equipped with a Super-Multi drive which capable of many CD and DVD formats including double layer DVD. However, I don't see support for Blu-Ray.
You could add an external Blu-Ray that connects to USB or FireWire (1394).
