When I play a song on my mp3 player, the screen displays "unknown."

Mp3 players are programmed to read original & copied songs when you download music into your Mp3. if you copy an original CD (music) to your Mp3, the songs will be displayed along with all the infos of that song, i.e. artist, track #, year, etc. if you copy a CD which contains copied songs from other originals, it will display "UNKNOWN" because original CD's have their own trademarks that distinguishes them from copied CD's or any other CD for that matter...

My motherboard for my laptap MX6025 was damage, now I am replacing them for a new one and would order via online. How do I install this to my windows xp, what requirements do i need such as drivers,...

If your hard drive is still working fine, you shouldn't need to reinstall Windows again. Most of the time your PC will perform as it did before your motherboard died by simply reinstalling the original hard drive.
If not then do this.
Reinstall windows with your restore CD, and with most gateway laptops you should have a drivers and applications CD that restores your motherboard drivers and applications to their original locations.

If you lost your drivers CD, you can download them all here.

http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?st=pn&param=5376

When asked, you should allow XP updates so that Service Pack 3 can install. This will add a few windows based drivers to your laptop that may be necessary for better video, audio and wireless performance.

Your restore CD may not ask for your CD Key, this is typical for a Vendors original restoration, but if for some reason it does, the number on the back of your laptop will work. Mine validated just fine.

New audio driver

Is this the original driver CD software? If you r downloading from the internet, then check for the exact specifications and download.

If u download and install other versions or diver name realtek ,then there may be some mismatch with the motherboard.

Can't get songs on motorola a1200

You should have a USB cable that comes with the phone n the driver for your files transfer from PC to Phone [I hope you got that CD too]. Now first of all install that driver from the CD...when it asks connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable. Open up the File Manager,My Music n start transfering...Remember for a music player to play songs continuosly u have put the songs in the my music folder or you'll have to go to that folder[that you have created yourself] and play songs one by one...it is very easy once u start doing it. Another method is...you do that via Bluetooth option...take ringtones or songs from somebody else's phone. Let me know if there's any prob.

How to take songs off ipod

Hey tina1234,
Its easy to remove music just like as ur PC.
U need to connect the IPOD with ur PC by USB data cable.
Some IPOD need driver and some dont need.
Install driver if needed from CD it came with.
Now, a drive for storage device of IPOD is seen. In it, there are many folders ie music/songs/sounds, videos, photos, etc. Go to music/song/mp3/sound folder. Inside, it there are songs u have uploaded before. Now u can choose and delete the musics.
Thats much. Thanks.

Music transferred from internet to my sansa not good

Am not sure which of the 2 actions we did solved the problem...but we installed the CD that came with it (my daughter has a Sansa C260 and her CD was already installed in the computer and we thought I didn't have to install mine). But we resorted on installing mine too in case it would help with the problem, and then we re-loaded all the songs into my Sansa C250 at a slower pace, although I really don't know if the quicker pace did cause the problem. But now my Sansa C250 is now able to record any song correctly.

Sound problem

Click on Start>run, then type 'dxdiag' windows can then run a diagnostic test on your graphics and sound drivers. You may only have to uninstall sound drivers and then re-install original sound driver from motherboard installation cd or from the motherboard manufacturer web site.
