TD sensor is bad. Replace the PCU.

Clean MBU interface. Clean with dev. Make sure you can see gold pins. Clean male adapter on MBU board with dev. Pic : SP201 ricoh MBU clean up with dev.

An SC548 error code indicates a fusing unit installation error. I would suggest that you turn the machine off, pull the fusing unit out, inspect it for any obvious damage, put it back in, and turn the machine back on. If it still doesn't work after reseating the fusing unit, it is likely that there is something wrong with the fusing unit and I would recommend that you seek professional help.

Fusing thermistor open error

Symptom: The fusing temperature remains lower
than the specified temperature by 20
degrees Celsius.

Possible Cause:
• Defective thermistor
• Incorrect installation of the thermistor
• Defective power supply unit
• Loose connectors

sc 541 is a fusr error. please email me on [email protected] so i can email you a procedure to reset the code.

No such error SC-820 in Ricoh Aficio MP 161. I have service manual and no such error.

Turning the main power switch off and on, resets the SC code if the error is caused by incorrect sensor detection.
If the error is still there, the laser synchronising detector or laser diode is faulty. Please call a service engineer.

The first thing to try is to turn the machine off, then back on at the red "main power" switch located on the left side of the machine. If the code returns it is indicative of firmware problems or a loose connection.

At this point I would seriously recommend getting a service tech to come out. However, if you want, you can take off the back cover (MAKE SURE THE POWER CORD IS UNPLUGED) and double check all of the connections by (GENTLY) pressing them into their connections. Hope this helps. Let me know.
