Main motor lock error
Failed to detect main motor lock signal for 7 checks in succession (total of 700ms) after main motor started to rotate, or after last lock signal was detected.
Main motor defective

Sc 542 error code
Error SC 542 indicates a fuser temperature problem. Once the error is detected, the printer is toast until you manually clear the error from the keypad. Even though the printer is physically fine, it won?t come ready until the prior error condition is cleared.
The magic keystrokes, clear the error code:
The Fix
In order to clear error SC542, you must perform procedure 5810.
Press and hold online + escape, then power on.
Use up and down arrow keys to select SP2
Press Enter
Use up and down arror to locate SP5
Press Enter
Use up and down arrow keys to select 810
Press Enter
Confirm the selection
Power off and on.
The error code is now cleared.

RICOH 2015 error code sc 500
Main motor/ transport motor lock/ fusting motor error.
The only thing you can do is check for any obstructions in the machine.
That needs to be looked at by a service because the problem could be a motor, a pcb, or a power supply.
It can be a lot of troubleshooting to do.

press the orange key for say three times and press 107 and then press and hold the clear key for about three to four seconds .
the machine zill take you to the sp mode.
turn off the machine and put on again after a minute.

Changed email hosting, now scan to email does not work
I'm confused. Are you saying that the programmed addresses don't work, but if you manually enter an address you can send?
Was your Gmail ( or another Gmail) account formerly the account to which the machine's settings were associated?
In order to use the scan to email, whatever settings have changed in your main email account, for example: username, password, SMTP & POP servers, etc, must be changed to match.
I am prettty sure you may have some difficulty, however if your new host uses Email encryption (SSL) , because I don't think that machine is compatible, so you may have to (somehow) configure an extra email account within your Outlook, or whatever you use that does not require authentication.
