Projector shuts off sporadically

Thank you for responding to my post. I just realized I must have posted twice by mistake, and you read the shorter message. I copied my second post below which has more details. Thank you in advance for your advice and suggestions.
I have owned my sharp xr-10x for 2 1/2 years now, and for the most part, it has worked well. My current remaining lamp life is 76%. However, recently the projector lamp dims, then turns off at irregular intervals (10 mins-over an hr). The fan remains on and, after a couple of minutes, the lamp turns on again. The standby/on light remains on through this, and the lamp light blinks green while warming up again. I am afraid my lamp life has diminished due to the frequent shut-off and back on periods. Any suggestions?

I have a SANYO Plv-z1 and it powers off after about 30 seconds of showing picture. The filter is clean and this evening I put in a brand new bulb. This is hugely disappointing and I'm not sure what on earth to do now. Any suggestions?

Hello,

1. Pls check the airflow of the cooling of the projector, or just service the all unit.

2. As you told that the lamp life is 76%, Check the inner
reflector have shiny surface of dimmy, If not shiny, then replace

As all the posts on here I have the same problem. My panasonic pt-lb10u turns on, green light flashes, fan comes on. Then the green light turns red and the red lamp indicator light comes on. No light emits...

Hi,

If your projector won't fire up then you can't reset the lamp counter so that is not the problem.

The combination of LEDs you have given does not correspond to an error message. There should be two LEDs, one of which is the Lamp Indicator, and the other is the Temp Indicator.

It's possible that an overheating problem has caused this. Make sure the projector is in an area where the temprature is between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F) and the humidity is between 20% and 80% (with no condensation). It shopuld have unobstructed air flow around it.

Disconnect the power. Remove the lamp and place it aside. Clean the air filters, using a hoover, being careful not to damage the filter which is located on the underside at the front of the projector under a flap.

Carefully reinstall the lamp (when you say you replaced the lamp, did you buy a new PANASONIC lamp from a reputable source?) Try to fire up the projector. Note down any combination of LEDs if the projector doesn't work and post hem back here.

We have two Dell 2400mp DLP projectors that will shut down randomly. The time that the projector is never the same.

I just got done talking with Dell, they told me to unplug everything from the projector, power source and all. Then Press and hold the power button down for 45 seconds. This will disapate the electricity from the capacitors. Plug everything back in, and test. Seem to wook for me!! Good Luck

Dropped computer - it won't turn on

get it looked at and do it fast. Buy a different mount so this doesn't happen again. and don't hang the projector too low. It might need service
