That's odd - are the pumps new and unused? if so speak to your nearest Grundfos expert - What part of the world are you in?
Hmm, Grundfos is a very highly regarded organisation and on the basis of what you say it seems to me that they have a question or two to answer here. I haven't experienced the problems that you describe with moisture or condensation entering the electrics; but on the other hand we have only sold a small quantity of this model. If the motor won't respond to new condensor or hand starting I'd say that the windings are u/s. Why don't you email Grundfos direct - I tried looking for a Grundfos agent in your area, but was referred to their office in Spain, which doesn't seem right. Go tohttp://www.grundfos.com/nav/contact.html... and put the question to them direct - I'd be interested to hear the outcome.

the pumps are all new, talked to an expert, said they will sweat and will fill the switch chamber with water which goes down into the motor. I see the new improved models have addressed this problem with drain holes, they said to try and kick start it with a screwdriver, no luck, changed the capacitor, did'nt work. I live in the Bahamas. I've installed several of these pump's and have never had this problem, one has been in 5 years. ????
