Traction control light comes and goes on the dash board

Get an obd2 code reader or borrow one from a major auto shop and they'll help you out in retrieving it. You can get wireless ones that will transmit the codes to your phone. You can get them for as cheap as $5 with free shipping. ELM327 Bluetooth obd2 transmitters work best with Android and the wifi ones are better for iphones. Then you something like Dash Commander or Torque Lite to grab the codes and translate what's going on.

It will not shift automatically

I take it it is the mercury or Town car in the Pic? Sounds like the shift valve in the transmission is gummed up or the "o" ring is damaged. The pan must come off the transmission and the valve or valve body needs cleaning. You local tyranny shop should be able to fix it with a tranny filter and oil change for around $300

Is this a easy fix

You'll need to add some detail here. All your question has for context is '1996 Mercury Mystique'. Adding washer fluid or lubing the door hinges is easy. A new head gasket isn't. There's a lot of ground in between. Folks in here can be much more helpful when you give as much detail as possible about the question or problem.

Where do I put automatic transmission fluid for a 1995 mercury mystique?

you have to have a funnel and you put it in the same place you check it at. You remove the dipstick and put the funnel in the hole and pour it in. You do have to keep checking it to make sure you are not putting in to much

COOLANT/WATER LEAKS FRONT BOTTOM PASSENGER SIDE.

If you are seeing coolant leaking from your car, then you have a leak. It could be the radiator, a hose, or the heater core. The other possibility is that if you are using straight water instead of water/antifreeze mix, then the water is boiling and overflowing the reservoir. I will assume this is not the case.

The car does not overheat at cruising speeds because there is enough air and coolant flow through the system to keep the engine temperature under control. When you stop and go, you lose the air flow. Check also if your cooling fan is running when the engine is warm and the car is stopped with the AC off. You should be able to hear it from beside the car.

You need to find the leak and repair it. This is a simple task. Simply get a flashlight and look for source of the green coolant. Once you have determined the source, you know which part to replace.
