I have the dishwasher model number FGHD2433KF, I have noticed in the last few that I have used my dishwasher no matter what setting I push after a few minutes it jumps to 99+.... Example a push quickwash and start it, the time that shows on the screen is 50, it counts down to 49 then it jumps to 99+. Every setting I originally set starts out at the right time that is listed in my book but then after a few minutes it jumps to 99+. Do I need to call service. I purchased the dishwasher in May of 2010.. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Janet Ayres

Try the micro switch which is located on top of the door handle. Make sure it's not wet and has current going through. Otherwise it's the capacitor which is connected to the motor. They are cylinder shaped normally and feed the motor in order to start the cycle. Easy to replace and relatively cheap but make sure it's the same size when replacing. There's a number on the front and mF next to it. Hope this helps

From the information you have provided the door gasket on your Frigidaire dishwasher continues to come loose. Typically, when your gasket starts coming out you may need to have a replacement gasket installed. I would recommend operating the gasket you need from your manufacturer and replacing it. It seems like defective control board and it is not cheap repair ,buying cheapest model new dishwasher could be good Idea

Hi Kenneth Cho - I will suggest verifying that there is enough water pressure coming into the unit. Is the unit making a grinding noise? If it is, then the dishwasher seems to have a defective drain motor. When was the last time the filter was cleaned? Do you noticed if the spray arm will rotate freely or if it is damaged? If so, you might have to remove and replace the spray arm assemblies. If any proves to be ineffective, it could possibly have a communication problem coming from the main control board, I would suggest contacting a professional technician to diagnose the unit accurately.

Hi Charles - From what you have described it sounds like there is a miscommunication with the control board/panel and you will need to contact a professional to diagnose it for repairs.

Do you have any flashing lights or beeps? Did you turn the household circuit breaker for a few minutes?

Sounds like the control board is having a communication error. Reset the unit at the circuit breaker and retry. If it happens again contact the manufacturer for a repair.

rlindaur179,There are a couple possible issues. We will start with the easy ones first.
1. There is a round shape float on the inside floor of the dishwasher.On this mode I believe it is in the front left. please check to see this float moves easily up and down. If there is any build up it could getting stuck in the upright position this can cause a reset in the cycle. Clean the float shaft. Lift float and clean shaft (steel wool works well)2. Replace control board

Hi Ruthp53, I am JK. I see that you have installed a new garbage disposal and now are having problems with your dishwasher (model FGHD2433KF) draining. I would recommend checking for blockage at garbage disposal and the drain. Also, new garbage disposables normally have a plug that will need to be taken out.

Hello bidness_67 please check inside of the sink cabinet look for a switch on the back wall. If there is one flip it. Many new building electrical codes require a switchto turn off power to the dishwasher. Sometimes when putting items in the cabinet the switch is hit unknowingly. If there is no switch check outlets (the GFCI ones)and press the reset then check the dishwasher.if not those two items check breaker box for a tripped breaker.
