Hello gavin..... Usually, when an oven won't bake, it's because the bake element is burned out. The bake element is the black, pencil- thick tube at the bottom of the oven. When the oven heats, the element glows red. This element has an expected life-span of several years. It may last for only one; it may last for many more. When the element burns out, you need to replace it.

This is an inexpensive part and relatively easy to replace. Call your local appliance store to obtain the part and the instructions on how to install it. Joe

Thanks for choosing Fixya!

SOURCE: fan oven on zanussi electric cooker does not heat up

From symptons, I would say the fan oven element is faulty, more so if the fan is working. Remove inner rear panel of oven and see if element gets warm, let it run for a minute, switch off and feel if element is warm, if not, then replace.the element.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Neff U1721 bottom oven not heating fan & light are ok

Yes it will need a new element, if the fan runs and temperature light comes on then the element is gone.

SOURCE: No heat from oven but fan and light works

Timer might be blocked on auto, you need to get it back to a manual setting.

SOURCE: my omega europa oven is not heating up .grill fan

Sounds like a faulty fan oven element. To replace: Disconnect from power (usually easiest to switch off at fuse box). Remove racks etc from inside oven. Remove rear panel inside oven- four screws. You will now see a heating element that goes around the fan- often you see blow mark on element. You need to remove the back panel of oven to access the nuts that hold element in- two nuts, undo nuts, remove wiring from element. New element available from any good appliance repair shop. Reverse procedure to refit. Happy fixing!!

If your electric oven does not heat up, does not heat up, but it works, most likely the problem is either in the thermostat or in the heating element

No heat from fan oven

If the fan is working o/k, and the oven is not gas, then it will be the electric oven element that needs to be replaced.
They are usually located behind a removeable cover at the rear of the oven compartment.
Hope this helps.
Please leave feedback for my solution.
Thanks.

HELLO MY FAN OVEN STOPPED WORKING ALTHOUGH THE ALL OVER FUNTIONS ARE OK. WHEN I TURN THE FAN OVEN ON I CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF THE FAN BUT THERE IS NO HEAT EVEN AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

If it is an eletrically heated fan oven, thei it sounds like the oven element has failed.
This is usually located at rrear of oven behind a removeable cover.
Hope this helps you.

Oven will not heat

Although I am not familiar with this oven, living in the u/k, I would say that without any doubt the oven element(s) have failed, more so if the fan is working, so I would have hesitation that you replace the suspect element (s)..
Plz let me know how you get on.Thanks.
