Had the same problem. Paired fine with multiple devices (headset, computer, auto.) Then all of sudden BT will not connect. Cannot re-pair (unable to find device(s)). Had 1st phone replaced. Within about 6 months, the 2nd Dare did the same thing.

Can you think of any reason my Plantronics 520 bluetuth device suddenly would refuse to connect with my Dare LG? Never had any problems linking the 2 together until now. When I power the device on it...

You may need to do a hard reset on your phone to re pair it back with your cell phone, let the battery go empty, remove put back in charge. Make sure that the headset is flashing red/ blue, this tells you that your headset is looking for a bluetooth application.

Unable to pair LG GM200 bluetooth 2.0 A2DP with Plantronics Pulsar 260. Error: "Request Failed" Please help in connecting this two devices

Each pair of BT enabled phone and headset is a particular world. I don't have the Plantronics, but my LG phone pairs fine with my Lubix stereo headsets. I'll tell you how I managed to pair them: I put my headsets in pairing mode. Then, on my phone, I go to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list > Options > New'. If my bluetooth stack is off I'm prompted to turn it on. It starts to search for devices, and comes up with my BT headsets' name, I press 'Pair', it prompts me for the pairing code. I enter '0000' (the same code for your Plantronics' headsets, by the way) and Ok. Then, back to the Device list, I select the BT headsets and go to 'Options > Connect'. I'm good to go. After listening to music, I use to go again to 'Connectivity > Bluetooth > Device list', select the headsets and press 'Options > Disconnect'.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Lg env v pairs with jawbone but won't connect. is it the code?

I have had the same issue with MY Samsung bluetooth headset.

Here's the sequence that works for me:

  1. Delete the headset under the bluetooth menu.
  2. Turn off the bluetooth
  3. turn on the blue tooth
  4. Add the headset back. The default pair code for most devices is "0000" or "1234"
  5. Try to enable/connect. If it fais, simply power off the enV.
  6. Power on and try to connect again (just connect, not pair)
  7. Headset will then pair.

Bluetooth passcode

When pairing two phones, you need to set up the connection on both phones. One will ask you to enter the password when you are creating the new connection, which you will then need to enter on the second phone to complete the connection. This ensures that only people you allow to connect (people you gave the code to) can connect to your device.
